I started my Crossfit journey back in 2008 and became certified in 2009. Crossfit changed my life and set me on a path to becoming a career coach. I love impacting people's lives positively as I help them reach their strength, fitness, and health goals. I've always been an athlete growing up, so CrossFit was a great fit for my competitive mindset. I played many sports in my younger years but emphasized football, wrestling, and Track & Field. After getting into Crossfit, I even made a couple of appearances as a Regional Team Athlete back when regionals were still a thing, haha. Ranking 11th in Norcal For Team at regionals was probably one of my greatest accomplishments recently, in the last 10 years or so. The field was tough and filled with household name OG Crossfitters. It was a great time in my competitive days.
My turning point came just before I started Crossfit. After being out of school for a couple of years, I fell off the wagon with good health and fitness habits. I had gained a lot of weight and eventually reached the heaviest I had ever been. Combine that with a recent breakup, and that moment fueled me to get back into shape. Fortunately, I stumbled on Crossfit shortly after that moment since I worked the front desk at a gym in Los Gatos at the time. After an ownership change, we started offering Crossfit classes, and it didn't take long before I found myself looking at what they were doing and thinking that it looked pretty fun. The rest is pretty much history after that. I got coaxed into a class one day and instantly fell in love.
My main purpose is to help people reach their goals and find a deeper meaning in their fitness journey. Along the way, my number one focus is to help build confidence, educate, and have fun! Nothing fires me up more than when a member or client has that moment where they accomplish a goal. Their success is my success.
